Leigh Nomchong - CVLeigh has been a psychologist in private practice since 1985. He has dealt with a wide range of issues ranging from depression, stress, anxiety, family relationships, marriage breakups, child development, eating disorders, addictions, to more debilitating conditions such as Dissociative Identity Disorder, Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders and Psychosis. Leigh has over 6,000 patient files, spanning more than 35 years of professional experience in dealing with life issues. MEDICO/LEGAL EXPERT WITNESS Leigh has been carrying out the role of an Expert Witness for the Australian court system for over 35 years. In this role he has carried out Medico/Legal assessments of people and provided reports for the court process. PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS Mental Health Professionals Network Leigh is a member of the MHPN. The MHPN is is a unique national initiative which aims to improve interdisciplinary and collaborative mental health care practices. The Australian College of Psychologists (ACP) - Fellow Leigh has been a member of the College for many years and was awarded the membership of Fellow in recognition of his clinical work and contribution to the industry. Leigh has served as the National Vice President of the College from 1995 to 2005, and he was the National Editor of the College Bulletin from 1990 to 2005. He has now retired from public officer roles. NB: Under the Medicare rebate system Leigh is classified as a General Psychologist.
